Nobody inhales continuously, do they?

So why is oxygen therapy designed as if you do? With Oxypoint you now have a choice between continuous flow and an oxygen dose only during inhalation.

Oxygen to the hospital

Oxypoint uses a new training program for the use of its innovative oxygen flowmeter. Since April, 10 departments in 8 hospitals have started working with it.

Oxypoint, comfortable oxygen therapy

A breath of fresh air

Oxypoint breaks the habits of oxygen therapy in hospitals by developing innovative solutions where everybody wins. Above all, the patient enjoys more comfort, but the hospital can also rely on less consumption, better therapy (loyalty) and higher ease of use.

Comfortable oxygen therapy

Our O2COMFORT flowmeter offers additional advantages over the traditional flowmeter and is suitable for every patient. The device contains a comfort mode that only delivers a dose of oxygen during the first phase of inhalation. In this way we eliminate the nasty side effects of a continuous supply of oxygen for the patient and we avoid oxygen waste.

Oxygen to the hospital

Oxygen therapy is a basic treatment at the hospital. Generations of medical and nursing staff are used to a traditional flowmeter. The O2COMFORT flowmeter breaks this routine. That is why we offer extensive support that guarantees sustainable correct use, and thus also the profitability of your investment.

Yves Mentens - Pneumologist AZ St-Elisabeth Herentals

I am very satisfied with the O2COMFORT flowmeter. In our ward we see a growth curve in the use of comfort mode up to 60% due to good follow-up and periodic tips. These patients are also less inclined to take out the nasal cannula.

Andre Brauns, Manager Pharmacy, CMU Saint-Pierre

After the introduction of the O2COMFORT flowmeter in one hospital campus, we saw a significant reduction in oxygen consumption. This convinced us to provide our other campus with the Oxypoint technology as well.

Magali Nys - Head nurse Surgery RZ Tienen

It’s very practical that the valves can simply stay open in comfort mode, because they will automatically close when the logistic assistants will come get the patients for their medical examination. This allows a substantial waste reduction.

Lieven Hauwaerts - head nurse Respiratory Care Sint-Maarten

I have experienced the comfort mode myself and the therapy sensation is much more pleasurable than the traditional continuous therapy. We have implemented the system in the entire ward and we are happy to see that on average 60% of our patients are successfully put in comfort mode.

Thanks to the training sessions, everyone immediately picked up the routine. The system is easy to use and when I have a rare issue to report, I'm serviced right away.
