This privacy & cookie statement is made available to you in order to make you aware of how Oxypoint, collects and uses data obtained through any type of interactions with Oxypoint (including meetings, calls, emails, and Oxypoint’s website).

1. What does this Privcay & Cookie Policy apply to?

This Privacy & Cookie policy applies to the processing of personal data obtained by Oxypoint either via the Oxypoint website, or via other ways such as face to face meetings, exhibitions, marketing campaigns, orders.

2. Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data?

Oxypoint is the data controller. This means that Oxypoint determines for what purposes and with what means your personal data will be processed. That also means that Oxypoint is responsible for the processing of your personal data.

3. For which purposes and on which legal grounds do we collect and process your data?

We will use and process your personal data lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner.

We will collect and use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • For client management purposes. It is necessary from a contractual perspective that we collect data to be able to communicate with our clients about the products and services they acquired.
  • For commercial (direct marketing, sales…) purposes to communicate about our company, products and services. In that case, we only keep and use the data for which the contact has given his consent. It is also possible that we send direct marketing emails to existing clients to inform that about our products and services, or similar products or services, based on legitimate interest. Alternatively, certain data may be held and used for other reasons of legitimate interest. For example, we maintain the data of the unsubscribes to ensure that we will not contact you any longer
  • For the recruitment of future employees, internships and/or thesis students. For these processing purposes, Oxypoint relies on the necessity for the execution of a (future) contract and on its legitimate interest.

4. What information do we collect?

4.1. Any personal data you provide to us such as your first name, last name, job title, company name, e-mail address, phone number.

That data will be processed in the following way:

  • Information you provide to us with the aim of obtaining company, product or services information from us, or with the aim of signing up to a webinar/event that we (co-)organise, or for subscribing to one of our newsletters. That information will be stored to respond to your request for information or to perform the described activity;
  • Information you provide to us as part of a job application will be stored and processed by us for that purpose and will be processed with the utmost care;
  • Information you provide to us in the frame of contract negotiations or an order can be used for the follow up of that contract or order.

4.2. When you link up to the Oxypoint website we automatically collect the following data:

  • The IP address attributed during the connection;
  • Duration of site/page visit;
  • Browser used;
